Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our 3D printing services, materials, and local pickup in Point Cook.

General Questions

How much does a custom print cost?

Pricing is based on three factors: Material volume, print time, and post-processing (cleaning resin or removing supports). We provide a fixed quote for every project so there are no surprises. Small miniatures usually start from $10-$15, while larger structural pieces vary by scale and material.

Where can I find files to print?

The best places to find 3D models are MakerWorld, Thingiverse, Printables, and MyMiniFactory. Simply send us the link or the STL file for a quote!

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes! We are based in Point Cook, VIC. If you are local, you can select “Local Pickup” to save on shipping costs. We will send you a notification as soon as your order is ready for collection.

Technical & Materials

Can you print functional parts for my car or home?

Absolutely. For functional parts, we recommend PETG or ASA. These materials handle heat and UV exposure much better than standard PLA. If you have a broken part, we can often replicate it if you provide the dimensions or an STL file.

Do the prints come painted?

Currently, we provide “Ready to Paint” models. This means we handle the printing and (for resin) the curing and support removal. The fun of painting the final piece is up to you! However, we can print in a wide variety of colored filaments to match your project’s needs.

What is the turnaround time?

Most small-to-medium prints are completed within 2–5 business days. Larger projects or bulk orders may take longer. We will give you a specific timeframe along with your quote.
